When changes are made in the software that will effect the Register systems (i.e. New Item, Retail Price, Sale Price, Department, Product Code, Taxes), the store user needs to be notified that a Pricebook File needs to be sent to the register.
Use framework notifications to let user know that new items are ready to be sent:

Clicking on the Notifiation should take the user to the "Update Register" screen.
Updates are dependent upon location. So if an item is changed in store 101, but not 102, only users that have primary location of 101 should receive notification that updates are ready to be sent.
Anyone with that stores default location should be sent notification udpates.
