Scenario:
- JDE created some contracts for payment term code "2100"
- Few months later JDE decides to discontinue the payment term code "2100"
- Terms configuration screen is not allowing the user to set the payment code as inactive if there are any transactions associated with it. Please see the error below.
- According to JDE this is a major flaw. It is very normal from the business perspective to discontinue certain payment terms. However the transactions that were performed earlier using this payment term will continue to available. It is just that we cannot allow new transactions for this payment term.
- Fix this as soon as possible. You also need to merge this fix into 17.1 RC and ask QC to take a build and test it
