# Discounts – are they importing correctly?
## The issue here is in our part. Phil is correct about the range, what happened is the error message from discount calculation returns a long message and the column that is being used for that message is not long enough. The actual message error message in the importing is string truncated. But the actual error in the discount is “Invalid reading value entered. Minimum Reading is 0 and Maximum Reading is 20”. I will do some modification about this to be included in the error in the importing.
