Switch Trades for Gabesco.
This screen is used to calculate the P&L on switching futures trades from one month to another.
Header Section:
- Batch Number: Alpha-numeric
- Date:
- Futures Market
- Remarks
Detail section:
- Allow user to select the futures trade in the dropdown
- Provide fields for user to enter the switch lots, commission -and additional cost-
- One or more trades can be added to a batch and saved
- Show summary section in the bottom showing P&L including futures P&L + commission -+ additional cost.-

Solution
1- Use existing match derivatives screen
2- Provide a dropdown Type -( the options will be Realize/ Roll- Default will be realize) for distinguishing if the match is for realizing futures or for calculating Roll cost
3- When user selects roll, the month dropdown will be inactive , load transactions for all futures month. User will be allowed to match a long of one month will sell of another month. once matched the impact flows to the second tab.
- *4- Additional cost/ Roll cost - need to validate with Gab if additonal cost is roll cost - does rolling needs additional commission ? - to be decided.* -
5- if roll selected, the impact doesnt go to Futures 360
6-- Show the type in search screen so user can visualize if the match was for realizing or rolling
7- Transactions that have already been matched will be allowed to roll.
8- Post unpost button will be disabled when user selects rolls in match screen
9- Rolling balance lots will not be impacted by matched balance lots.
10- Once all the future contacts have been rolled, balance becomes zero. this contract cannot be rolled further
