1. Open the User Preferences > Dashboard from Common Info folder
2. Uncheck the 'Enable Column Sorting' option and click OK
3. On Dashboard menu, click Display Dashboard menu
4. Look for a Pivot style panel.
5. Click any of the column name's mini icon in the Row fields

Sorting options are enabled.
