Hi Everyone,
Based on what we have discuss we are going to dock the search screen on the viewport of i21 application (_the blank center part_) and we have agreed this will be included now on 15.2 release.
To be able to achieve this enhancement we did changes on the viewport that the dashboard and helpdesk are currently using to dock their respective panels. This means that they need also to adjust their method on docking on the viewport. I removed the tab panel (_‘#tabMain’_) on the view port and replace it with a panel _(‘#pnlMain’_) instead, because as the requirement on docking the search grid on the viewport it should not be add on a tab. It come to my concern that dashboard needs a tab to be able to dock it’s panels and I would like to suggest that tab will be created on dashboard on runtime and docked that tab on the panel inside the viewport. With that I created a global function that we can use to dock our respective component on the viewport (_‘iRely.Functions.dockToViewPort(component)’_).
