Steps:
Note: As a whole, the GL entries for Inventory Category and Inventory Valuation should balance by 360.68 (difference in our beginning balance to GL as of 7/31/2019).
However, when you look at the individual products compared to GL totals, they do not balance.
Ex:
Look at Item code 4101B for location 276. The Inventory Valuation as of 8/31/2019 shows running balance of $0.
Issue:
However, when you look at the GL Account 1401-0276 which is the GL account used for 4101B, it is showing negative $286K.
This has to do with blends and costing of auto blend, $0 receipt etc.
Acceptance:
We need to fix the balance so that GL entries match the inventory valuation per product/category. You may need to rebuild again.
