Settlement - Posting of settlement and change of ownership of Inventory
There is a screen in grain where purchase from storage and pricing of DP inventory (On Hand Inventory with zero cost on receipt) is done. On posting, inventory has to be updated, costing has to be done, GL entries has to be made and transaction should be available for billing the vendor.
Purchase from Storage -
# Reduce On Storage
# Increase On Hand
# Do Inventory Costing
# Make GL Entries
# Create Vouchers and post
## Create Voucher for Inventory Purchase
## Include discounts and premiums in the voucher
## Include storage charges
# Adjust storage obligation (Grain team)
# Update Contract balances (Grain and Contract team)
DP Stored Inventory is priced - DP Contract is attached to a regular contract to get the price.
DP is own inventory which will be priced later. Receipt will be zero cost but inventory is added to On Hand
# Do all steps as above except inventory stock updates.
2 new Inventory Transaction types are required in Inventory Transaction table. "Storage Purchase" and "DP Contract"
