*Steps* :
1. Go to Inventory > inventory Adjustment > click New
2. Select date (10/31/2018)
3. Select Item
4. Populate adjustment value
5. Click Post
*Issue* :
Scenario - Back dating an Inventory Adjustment to a prior date. In this case 10/31
The Available pops in (I am guessing this is the CURRENT available, not the available on that date)
We keyed in what we wanted the ending inventory to be on THAT date.
The adjustment is calculated. Post.
Looking at the ending inventory 10/31 it isn't correct. What I think happened is that the adjustment amount was incorrectly calculated because the available was not correct.
We unposted and instead calculated what we wanted the adjustment to be. It calculated a new balance that ultimately wasn't correct. Again, I think due to the available being wrong.
I am not really sure what the fix should be. Maybe just don't show an available if back dating and force the user to only enter in an adjustment amount. Otherwise we need to show the available based on the transaction date.
*Acceptance* :
Avaibale Qty retrieve is correct and was able to post Inventory adjustment
