When user locks an inventory count, system locks the items of those pallets that they are counting it. Due to inventory variance, they have one dedicated person to count the inventory every day. He counts the inventory by storage location or sub location wise. When he locks it, they are unable to produce or ship out the counting item.
My understanding is that when we lock the inventory, it should be based on how they are counting it whether it is a category or by sub location or by storage location wise. System has to lock only the pallets that they are counting it if 'count by pallet' is enabled. they should be in a position to lock only those pallets instead of all the pallet of those items.
Please advise.
