*Pre-requisite:* See IC-3111 first.
*Description:*
There is a revision to the requirement from IC-3111.
* All contracts received in i21 will be received only through i21
* Once i21 goes live, our i21 system will be their only system using which they will create contracts and do receipts.
* Their initial plan was to explore importing the receipts also from their existing systems then they figured out it was messy and dropped that plan.
* This scenario can happen under the following circumstances:
** JDE had 1000Kgs of item XYZ in Sub-Location L095. They have moved that quantity from L095 to L099 using SAP. They have additionally consumed 200Kgs during production from L099. During daily stock report it will have 0 quantity for L095. Another independent record of 800Kgs in L099. We are expected to set the inventory to 0 in L095. Similarly we are expected to set the inventory to 800kgs in L099. We will not know that this stock has moved from L095 to L099 and sub-sequently consumed 200Kgs.
** During periodical cycle count they figured an item at sub-location L085 that initially had 0 now they found a partial bag with 50kgs on it. In such a case, their stock report will have 50kgs at L085. We will not have any past history on how did they get this 50kgs at L085. They expect us to update the inventory in this sub-location L085 with 50Kgs.
** No inventory will be in the system during initial data load.
* Their expectation is that we just create the inventory in that sub-location at any storage location with any lot id. They do not care because they do not use our system for inventory management. They are keeping this stock only for our risk reports. That is the reason we had changed our risk reports also to not to look for any association with the lots in inventory with their associated contracts & receipts.
*Expected result:*
* JDE does not care in which storage location stock is in i21.
* From the above cases:
** Case 1:
*** When adjusting lot quanities, IC will not look for the storage location. Just adjust the lot quanitity based on FIFO regardless of storage location.
*** Ex: i21's stock is in L095. Just make the quantity to 800kgs. Do not have to set to zero and create stock in L099 for 800kgs.
** Case 2:
*** Add the 50kg to any existing lot in any storage location.
*** If there are no lots at all in the system, create a new one using lot sequence number.
