Description We should create a button that will allow the user to reverse enteries.     *Background:*   There are two reasons to create a reversing entry function in the system:   1) Some users may object to an unpost feature   2) even if you allow unposting there are situations where unposting will be invalid for example:   * user wants a clear transactional record * user may want to reverse an entry in a closed period but may not want to open that old period (in that case they could navigate to an old entry - bring it up and reverse it.)   If the fiscal period is not open we can not unpost - so... I propose the following:   * When a transaction is posted ** the posted transaction is in a closed period ** The posted transaction is from Subledger or origin * the unpost button becomes a reversal button ** this would create a reversal entry in the GL the exact oppisite of the original transaction but could post to an open period. * instead of doing an unpost the button should say reverse and an entry would be created that would reverse the initial entry and it would appear on screen and we would be able to change the date on it.     for example     * Enter transaction for 1-1-15 * post the transaction for 1-1-15 * Close the january period * find the transaction and hit unpost * the unpost will not be allowed.   expected behavior   * when you open the journal entry screen if a transaction is in a closed period the unpost button should change to reverse * when you hit the reverse the system should create an opposite entry to the one on screen and you should be able to change the date on that transaction and post.   !pastedImage_d37130_0.png!   *Notes from Steve:*   !pastedImage_d37130_1.png!
