Please compare the database prior to upgrade. I am not sure which upgrade removed the data.
There has been two upgrades recently that I remember.
* 17.1 > 17.3
* 17.3 > 17.3 - blocker for CRM issue
* 17.3 > 17.3 - blocker for HD ticket missing invoice issue
*Issue:*
The activities for customers as well as attachments are missing.
*Acceptance Criteria:*
Activities and attachments should be retained after upgrading
