Description |
* Rename *recalculate* to changes and make it a drill down report automatically
Process:
* Create a report
* Archive the report
* Review the changes since the last archive
So lets say you Had one account in your report - Cash 1100-00
You ran a Archive report and that closed the month.
you would have an archive per below
|Account|Balance|
|1100-00|100|
| | |
| | |
Then lets say you went into GL and reopened the period and made the following entry
*GJ-430*
1100-00 .5 Debit
1200-00 .5 Credit
Then you ran the change report from the archive the change report should show
|Account|Balance|
|1100-00|.5|
| | |
| | |
The 1100-00 line in the *change report* should be drillable
Then if you reran the report you should see
|Account|Balance|
|1100-00|100.50|
| | |
| | |
Does this make sense?
In the rows you have the option of drilling down on each row - by clicking drill down to activate drill for that row. on an "Audit reprot" you would want to be able to drill no matter how the row was configured.
customer will need detail to make this useful - so no matter what is checked on drill - activate drill on the audit report.
