Description |
Version: 14.1.0228.274
Steps:
1. Create a row designer record equivalent to Income Statement.
2. Create a column designer record with Budget column type.
3. Create a Financial report where row and column configured above is selected.
4. Print report.
Issue: Variance Amount and Variance Percent are shown incorrectly.
Expected Result: Should show amount based on rule stated below.
For Sales and Revenue types of account:
* When Actual lower than Budget, the result is *unfavorable* because the target sales was not met – see Other Revenue row below as example. The Variance Amount and Percent should be in negative.
* When Actual exceeds Budget, the result is *favorable* because the target sales was met, even exceeded – see Sales row below as example. The Variance Amount and Percent should be in positive.
