When our customers are running reports they see great value in pulling units at the row level.
For example on a margin report you would like to see the margin per unit.
so... we suggest that there is an override at the row level to force units into a specific row that normally is containing amounts,
The objective would be to produce a report like:
Cost of Goods Sold 100
units 10
Dollars per unit 10 calculated as (100/10)
This is only useful in the case where a customer is putting units in the row rather than the column - they want to override a specific row to get units so that they can see the cost per unit or revenue per unit in the same row - the idea is to override what is in the column units rather than what is defined in the column.
