Configure Best Price Only by contract.
Best Price Only is similar to the Max Price in that it compares the retail price to the contact price. The difference is that if the retail price is used, +do not+ apply the quantity to the contract. Best Price Only is used by Petro customers.
+Example+:
Contract Price is $1.50
Currently, the generic price (price from Card Fueling, inventory Retail Price, Promotional Pricing, Pricing Level) is $1.30.
Since the lower of the two prices is not the contract price, the invoice will use the $1.30 price and not apply the quantity to the contract. The contract quantiy will remain unchanged.
+Requirements+:
1. Add a checkbox on the Additional Info tab called Best Price Only.
2. If the retail price is used do not apply the quantity to the contact.
3. Since Best Price Only is for Sales contracts, hide Best Price Only checkbox on Purchase contracts.
