This is a concern if origin is not enabled in i21. The checkbook is an origin field so it will remain blank as you create bank accounts in the system.
When you select a bank account from any of the bank account drop down, it remains blank after selecting a record. This is confusing. It should display the Account No if Checkbook is blank.
This is an issue raised in the March 2015 cab.
