When I go to save an Invoice, I get a message that I do not have a COGS account. There is not a COGS account in the item setup, but there is in the category. I was trying with item 10001.

Invoice should pick accounts from Category maintenance if not setup in item maintenance. If not setup even in category then pick from location defaults.
