It would seem that the posting routine for Received Payments is what is causing this. They showed me what was happening on their 02 company.
Basically not all of their AR payments were showing up on Bank Rec that should have. They thought maybe unposting and posting the ones that were not showing up would fix it. This would make the one they just unposted and posted show up, but then remove another of the payments that was on the bank rec before.
They are 15.3.1009. I decided to look at their 98 company. 4 of the received payments were on the 98 from the copy, the two that were missing were ones that were entered and posted today after their upgrade.
All four of the payments that had been entered and posted were on the bank rec when I got on. So then when I unposted one and posted it back the bank rec showed only the one I just unposted and posted. (Which is the screen below).
!pastedImage_d45444_0.png! I would have them use undeposited funds for these but I worry that if they show up double on the deposits side of bank rec then they wouldn't be able to reconcile to their actual bank account balanace.
