Click the link below to go to Help Desk ticket.   [HDTN-223501 - Sales order greater then contract issue|https://helpdesk.irely.com/iRelyi21live//#/HD/Ticket/?ticket=HDTN-223501]           v18.3.0319.807     + *Issue:* +   When sales order qty is greater than the qty on the contract, it will not allow to save the sales order.   + *To do:* +   A sales order is an ordered quantity, not until the order is fulfilled we do not know the actual shipped quantity. Do not validate contract quantity on the sales order, just validate the contract is open. Let the invoice logic determine if additional lines need to be added.   User need to be able to type in the qty ordered on the sales order, even it it is greater than that on the contract. If a customer comes to get 500 bu, and only has 400 bu left on contract, user need to select that contract and 400 will apply to it, and any amount over that will roll to a new line to be billed at the daily price. But they need the total amount ordered on the Sales order as they use the pick ticket for their Treater to know how much to load on the customer's truck.     *What we'll do* :   We will remove the restriction. However, we will change it to validation and pop up an information message saying that 'Ordered quanitity is higher than contract balance. Do you want to continue?'   Yes - close the message   No - close the message and revert the value
