Please investigate the new pop-up about Out of Balance. It looks like it was popping up for some customers when they were in balance and when that happened it showed the popup in the screenshots with no amounts. I did go in and test it by making a journal entry to throw it out of balance in their TE and it worked just fine.
I am not sure how it is triggered, therefore I am having a hard time reproducing it, but we had two separate customers have this after getting upgraded to 18.1.0515+
