Bill Entry -> Details - Make cost editable
Users may not know the actual cost at the time of receipt. They will know the actual cost when they receive the invoice from vendor.

See how it will affect the costing. We will have to update the cost of the item from bill entry.
What will happen if the item is already sold or consumed before the bill entry happen or if user unpost the bill entry, edit the cost and post again?

How are you handling the gl entries? Are you posting difference in cost from receipts to inventory account or cogs?
